The nose is racy, powerful. It reveals notes of ripe blackberry, wild cassis and small notes of ripe wild strawberry associated with touches of small fruits as well as hints of violet, sichuan pepper, fine hints of nutmeg and spices. The palate is fruity, mineral, well balanced, very discreetly tight and offers a juicy/acidulous frame, a good definition, tension as well as power. On the palate this wine expresses notes of bright cassis, crushed blackberry and small notes of violet associated with touches of small juicy black fruits as well as hints of violet, chocolate/tonka bean, fine hints of nutmeg and pepper.
