2020 Domaine Amelie & Charles Sparr, Pinot Gris, Sensation

A stately Pinot Gris with Demeter certification from Alsace, which, with its nut, peach and fig aromas and its presence of tannins, is an excellent accompaniment to Asian and especially Korean cuisine. Fine melon and citrus notes give it freshness, while it shows its power on the palate, is dense and complex and reveals subtle caraway in the finish.
