2019 Own Selection Margaux by Château Angludet is a blend of 50% Cabernet Sauvignon, 40% Merlot, and 10% Petit Verdot. It also saw 50% amphorae ageing – a first for the estate – but one that softens tannins without over-reliance on oak. Gently floral top notes make way for darker hedgerow fruit, cassis, and a hint of pencil shavings.The palate is generous and rich, with round, velvety tannins, while a dose of acidity navigates through the layers of blackberries and blueberries, bringing balance and elegance.
