2022 Josep Grau, Vespres Negre

The 2022 Vespres style leans towards medicinal herbs, whole-bunch fermentation and a lighter body. Pomegranate, balsamic vinegar, garrigue and a medium-bodied palate. Organic cultivation, manually-harvested, spontaneously fermented in concrete vats, then aged in Stockinger barrels. Bottled in summer 2023, with minimal added sulphur.
