Sake

Yuki no Bosha

Established in 1902 by Yataro Saito, this brewery maintains eleven original buildings, such as the house, store, and storehouse, which are recognized as national tangible cultural properties. Emphasizing that "sake is brewed by microorganisms, not people," they refrain from using chemicals to sterilize the brewery. Consequently, they hold the distinction of being the first sake brewery in Japan to obtain organic certification.
