Benrinnes is a steely malt which provides the backbone to some famous blends. The nose is firm and malty with an elegant and playful fruitiness. The palate is round and succulent with a distinct smoky element, cut by some praline and banana. This dram has an old-fashioned feel but, thankfully it is for today's enjoyment.
